Finally a nice weather weekend for a tournament!
Huge thank you to our hosts Friday, Union Chapel Baptist Church ,Sherri Gould and family are always gracious hosts and have been for many years! Her husband Tracy gave a great message about the simple gospel.
Saturday was a overcast and warm day and fishing turned out to be fairly tough for the 31 teams. Melvin Fulk and Bryan Conley brought in the best bag of the day at 12.7lbs, Brandon Hill and Kevin King were a close second with 12.5lbs including the event big fish of 4.25lbs. Third was Branch/Branch with 11.92lbs. The final 3 money spots were:
4th: Brad Whitfield/Brian Lindamood 11.79lbs
5th: Neff/Neff 11.46lbs
6th: Waybright/Mitchell 10.38lbs
Carl Sadler/Cameron Lamm took home a pair of Abu Garcia rods for the "Capital Dents" just out of the money award. Mike and Penny Brown won the Perserverance award "in memory of Calvin Carter" by Carol Dinsmore Realty.
